FAQ
Questions about Complete Search
What does Complete Search index?
The full content of your posts and pages, not only titles and excerpts. Members-only posts are indexed too, and their content stays behind your paywall.
How do I turn it on?
Enable it for your site in the Synaps Media panel. There are no scripts to add to your theme and no API keys to copy.
Is members-only content exposed?
No. Paid posts are searchable, but the matched passage is only shown to members who already have access to that content.
Who is Vellumine?
Vellumine is an independent search service for Ghost websites. Complete Search is our one-click integration of it, so you get the full service without setting it up yourself.
Which plans can use it?
Both. Complete Search is a paid add-on on Basic and Premium, billed per site.
Can I cancel it later?
Yes. Disable the add-on any time and your site falls back to Ghost's built-in search. The remaining amount of your payment will be credited to your account to use in your next payment.
