Built-in advanced image editor is included in Synaps Media from today!
Your content just got a visual upgrade! I'm exciting to announce a new feature in Synaps Media.
We’ve just rolled out built-in image editing to every Ghost website hosted on Synaps Media. Whether you’re polishing a post or updating your newsletter visuals, you can now tweak images directly inside the Ghost Admin, no external tools, no downloads, no distractions.
Why this matters
Until now, editing an image meant switching tabs, opening another app, saving files again, re-uploading, resizing, and so on. With this update, you can:
- ✂️ Crop or resize to fit perfectly
- 🎨 Apply filters, tweak brightness or contrast
- 🔄 Rotate, flip, or straighten images
- ✍️ Even draw or annotate on top of your uploaded images
All without ever leaving your editing flow.
Whether you’re a blogger, a photographer, or just someone who appreciates clean visuals, this makes your publishing experience smoother, faster, and more enjoyable.
How it works
Just upload an image as usual while writing in Ghost. Hover over the image, click the new “Edit” button, and you’ll enter the powerful Pintura editor. Make your changes, save, and boom, your updated image is ready.

Pintura is an advanced image editor that works right inside your browser. Thanks to built-in integration of Ghost Admin, now you have this power while you are managing your posts or pages.
Do I need to pay for it?
No, it's included it in Synaps Media for all of our customers. Even though Pintura is a paid product, we provide it to all of our customers without any extra cost.
When can I start using it?
Now! It's already live for all the websites Synaps Media hosts. Go to your Ghost Admin, and try to upload a new image or play with one the previously saved images.
